What is a Memoryscape?

Each Memoryscape below is a one-of-a-kind creation—an artful arrangement of found objects, personal curios, and meaningful memorabilia. Originally born from my own collection of artifacts gathered throughout my global travels as a photojournalist, Memoryscapes have evolved into deeply personal, sculptural tributes.

Now, I invite you to take part....

Send me a box of your own keepsakes—tiny treasures, mementos, vintage items, or found objects—and I will transform them into a unique Memoryscape that tells your story or honors someone you love. A visual poem made from the pieces of your past.

Each piece is custom-crafted and completely individual—just like its namesake—and priced accordingly, with quotes provided in advance.

The transformed three-part metal mirror structure features: one side with an antique map of Earth’s orbit around the sun, adorned with lapis lazuli stones; the center section with a collage of dated encyclopedic flora and fauna pages, a broken watch face, and a lapis lazuli stone; and the final side showcasing my first black-and-white lizard image, partially painted over and affixed with a found mini brass lizard and stone from my travels, encircled by Tiger Eye stones. Throughout, antique cast iron shoe molds from the bygone days of the St. Louis shoe industry...
