MO because my brother never wants to say Monique NOMADIC because I haven’t stopped wandering the world in search of truth and beauty

I imagine my vision began before birth but kicked in professionally in 1993 as I began to witness the world through the lens as an international freelance photojournalist. This formidable chapter culminated in 2010 with my award-winning book, Latitude Zero, profiling my solo three-year epic journey around the earth’s edge.

Enter Konrad, my nuclear-powered son, who in June 2020 turned 10. Last decade was frenetic but precious. I was a dedicated wife, humbled mother and tireless visual artist based in Bangkok and Kinshasa while trying to teach my son to slow down and smell the roses as I experimented and created with different visual art mediums and explored photography in a different way.

COVID halted our world wanderlust journey but my insatiable passion to create and move forward mentally and spiritually continued
